Madrid, meanwhile, have verbally agreed on personal terms with Yan Diomande, according to Sky Germany. Paris Saint-Germain also reportedly reached a deal with him last month, but the Spanish side are now said to be in pole position.
Over in Italy, La Gazzetta dello Sport claims Manchester United are offering Marcus Rashford to Roma in an attempt to reduce the transfer fee for Manu Kone. However, the sports newspaper describes any deal as unlikely due to the player's £325,000-a-week wages.

Turkish club Galatasaray has issued a statement denying any agreement with Bayern Munich about a possible loan move for Germany international Jamal Musiala.The club's announcement read: "The news circulating on social media and digital platforms today regarding an agreement between Jamal Musiala and Bayern Munich is not true. This is for the public's information."
New Man City boss Enzo Maresca kept his cards close to his chest about Rodri's future at the Etihad Stadium, but said he wasn't worried about losing the influential midfielder.
"First of all I have to say, that around big players there are always speculations so I am not worried about that," Maresca said at his first City press conference.
"I think it is normal, also because they won the World Cup, because he is one of the best players. I think every manager wants to have Rodri because he is a top player.
"But now, surgery on Monday. He needs a holiday, he needs to rest and recover and then he will be back with us."

Fabrizio Romano claims Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal have opened talks with Everton over a possible move for Iliman Ndiaye.
It's claimed negotiations are at an early stage, but the Saudi club wants to sign one more star after securing the Crysencio Summerville move.
Ndiaye is reportedly open to initial talks but Romano says the move will depend on Everton's stance.

Newcastle United have reportedly set their sights on Braga goalkeeper Lukas Hornicek, who has a £29.5m release clause according to the Daily Mail.
The 24-year-old Czech Republic international is said to have turned down a move to Premier League new boys Hull City, despite the Tigers matching his release clause.
The Magpies have reportedly enquired about Hornicek and are hopeful a deal can be agreed quickly.
RMC Sport claims PSG have now withdrawn from the race to sign Yan Diomande with the back-to-back Champions League winners not willing to comply with RB LEipzig's demands.
The French club had reportedly agreed terms with the player, but PSG are reportedly unhappy with the player's agents after agreeing terms.

TeamTalk claims Arsenal will try to sign Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott if they fail to sign Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes this summer.
The report mentions Chelsea's £64m bid for the Cherries playmaker earlier this summer as a reference point for the Gunners.
Bournemouth have reportedly made it clear that Scott is not for sale this summer, but that won't deter interested parties.
The Telegraph claims Arsenal are planning to improve Vinicius Jr.'s current £400,000 per week contract in order to lure him to the Emirates Stadium.

TeessideLive claim Middlesbrough have held initial talks with Manchester United regarding a move for goalkeeper Radek Vitek on a permanent deal.
The shot stopper impressed on loan with Bristol City last season, though Boro have not yet progressed talks for the 22-year-old.
There's understood to be plenty of interest in the United goalkeeper, who has made it clear he wants to be number one in the 2026/27 campaign.
Speaking to BBC Sport earlier in the summer, Vitek said: "I'm ready to go somewhere again and hopefully be number one. I'm ready for both [permanent or loan], to be fair. It depends on what the club wants and also on the options.
"There has been a few interests on the table. We're hoping to choose the best one and hopefully it will happen soon. I want to play every week and that's the goal for next season."
Sky Germany are disputing TalkSPORT's claim that Yan Diomande's move to Real Madrid was a 'done deal.'
RB Leipzig, Real Madrid and the player's camp have reportedly all confirmed that no transfer fee has been agreed.
The report says that while Los Blancos are leading the race to sign the Ivory Coast international, no deal has been agreed and PSG are still invovled in negotiations.
TalkSPORT claim Chelsea have turned down a third bid from Serie A side Como for Trevoh Chalobah as they hold out for their £35million asking price.
Como's opening bid was in the region of £22million, which was rejected by the Blues, though they remain open to selling the 27-year-old.
Chelsea are closing in on the signing of Maxence Lacroix from Crystal Palace, meaning Chalobah would move further down the pecking order.

Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe did not rule out a departure for captain Bruno Guimaraes this summer, having held talks with the player over the summer. Speaking after a pre-season draw with Gateshead, Howe said: "I have spoken to him normally as I would do.
"Bruno is a fantastic person, and we had some really good conversations before and during the World Cup and after the World Cup. What we speak about has to remain private. He is a great player and a great person.
"Look, I don't know what is going to happen with Bruno's future, that is for other people to speculate about. But also conversations that I'm not part of."
Arsenal are understood to be keen on signing the Brazil international, after shining at the World Cup with his country, but a previous verbal offer of £45m was immediately rejected by the Magpies.

Inter's initial offer for Cristian Romero is a loan with a £34million obligation to buy, according to SportMediaset journalist Orazio Accomando.
Their negotiations with Tottenham Hotspur are said to be in full swing, with the Argentina international apparently giving his approval to the Italian champions. The offer is described as an expensive loan, with new contacts expected.
Manuel Akanji moved to the Serie A side in a similar deal last year before his move from Manchester City became permanent earlier this summer. Romero would join Argentina team-mate Lautaro Martinez at San Siro if a move materialises, who is Inter's captain.

Vinicius Junior's priority is to renew his Real Madrid contract, according to AS.
It is said that the Spanish club also intend on signing him to an extension. They almost agreed a new deal after last summer's Club World Cup. However, negotiations soon came to an abrupt halt.
Talks over a new contract will reportedly resume next week when the Brazilian is back from vacation. He apparently wants an annual salary of £17million, which is around £4million more than his current deal. The Spanish sports newspaper claims that Vinicius will make it easy for Madrid because he wants to stay.

Bayern Munich sporting director Christoph Freund says that Michael Olise leaving the club to join Real Madrid is not even a topic of conversation.
Speaking after their first pre-season friendly of the summer away to Wehen Wiesbaden, which a young Bayern team lost 2-1 after a late winner by their hosts, Freund told Abendzeitung:
That's not even a topic for us. We're looking forward to Michael returning from vacation. He will play an important role for Bayern this season - just like last year already.

Those close to Bradley Barcola will push for a move at a price below the £144million that PSG value their player at, according to talkSPORT's Alex Crook and Ben Jacobs.
Liverpool are said to have held preliminary talks over Barcola, but there is reportedly no movement when it comes to Pedro Neto. Arsenal have yet to make a move for the winger despite appreciating him as a player.
It is claimed that PSG are expecting a high level of interest. However, both Barcola and Liverpool would look to agree a deal worth less than their £144million valuation this summer window.

Paris Saint-Germain want at least £140million for Bradley Barcola, according to the BBC's Nizaar Kinsella.
Barcola is said to be exploring his options, with Arsenal and Liverpool credited with an interest in the France international. PSG are reportedly open to selling because their head coach, Luis Enrique, only wants players who are fully committed.
They believe the benchmark is not unreasonable compared to the fees Chelsea and Manchester City have paid for Morgan Rogers and Elliot Anderson this summer. Kinsella claims they have also noted interest from multiple Premier League clubs, while Bayern Munich have been linked with the winger.

Liverpool are in talks with Paris Saint-Germain over signing Bradley Barcola, according to Foot Mercato.
The Reds are said to be the player's preference as they particularly appeal to the France international. The French outlet acknowledges that they have yet to reach an agreement, but negotiations are reportedly well underway.
Barcola is in the final two years of his contract with PSG but will seemingly not be signing another. Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Chelsea are all credited with an interest in the winger this summer. However, it appears that Andoni Iraola's side are the frontrunners to win that particular race.

Bradley Barcola will not sign a new contract with Paris Saint-Germain, according to RMC Sport.
Discussions over a renewal are said to have ceased. PSG reportedly made their final extension offer to the France international three months ago, which Barcola turned down.
There are still two years remaining on his current contract, and several Premier League clubs have been credited with an interest in him this summer. Arsenal and Liverpool are among them as they look to sign a winger. However, the former are also exploring a deal for Vinicius Junior, who has half as many years left on his contract as Barcola.

Arsenal have confirmed that Callan Hamill has signed his first professional contract.
The Scotland under-19 international moved south of the border from St Johnstone last summer. He played 38 times for Arsenal's academy last season.
Hamill said as part of a statement from the club announcing his deal:
I'm really delighted to get it over the line and just really looking forward to what's coming next. I moved away from home last year and joined Arsenal last season and had a really good season last season, so it's been a good year so far, so looking forward to kicking on.

Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio has confirmed that the club are interested in Cristian Romero.
Their long-time transfer chief told Sky Italia:
There is certainly an interest that we are showing in the player and the club. These are long things, but there is certainly interest; let's see.
Tottenham Hotspur are said to have held talks with the Serie A side about their player this summer. They did so during discussions over Djed Spence, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Barcelona are also credited with an interest in the Argentina international. However, they will apparently only be in the market for a defender if one leaves.

It is anticipated that a new approach will proceed, with the expectation that a £70million proposal will be improved upon. Romano describes next week as an important one of new contact and a crucial moment for their negotiations.

Juventus head coach Luciano Spalletti claims that Emiliano Martinez wants to leave Aston Villa.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the Italian told them:
Dibu Martinez? He is a goalkeeper who wants to change teams, and we are looking for competitiveness, but at the moment, we have two goalkeepers.
Spaletti refers to Mattia Perin and Michele Di Gregorio, but the Serie A side continue to be credited with several Premier League shot-stoppers. Liverpool's Alisson and Guglielmo Vicario have been linked with a transfer to Turin this summer, with Villa's goalkeeper the latest name mentioned as potentially being on the move.

Real Madrid will only begin negotiations to sell Vinicius Junior if they receive an offer worth at least £136million, according to SPORT.
That amount is said to be non-negotiable, with club president Florentino Perez not even willing to begin talks for anything less. Their asking price, however, reportedly could include any add-ons, so the initial outlay this summer could be lower and offset over the coming years.
They have seemingly set his valuation so high to put off any opportunistic approaches for a player in the final 12 months of his contract. It is acknowledged that Madrid may be open to offers if talks over a renewal do not progress before the start of August.

Arsenal have agreed a deal to sign Axel Donczew, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The 16-year-old is said to have already completed a medical. The Telegraph's Sam Dean first reported their strong interest earlier this month, saying at the time that Cardiff City's youngest-ever player would initially join Arsenal's academy setup.
Fulham have also been credited with an interest in Donczew, who is already a Wales under-19 international. A right-footed winger, who can also play in a central attacking midfield role, is also eligible to play for Poland, but the Dragons' head coach Craig Bellamy is said to really like him.

Liverpool also did likewise weeks ago, with Manchester City also making their interest known more recently. Madrid, meanwhile, appear to be the frontrunners and are reportedly working intensively to reach an agreement with Diomande's club after making new contact.

United are reportedly trying to reduce the £50million asking price by proposing that the England international moves to Italy's capital. It is said that his inclusion could be key to a deal, but it appears a loan move would be necessary for Roma financially.
The sports newspaper claims that United would have to cover a large part of his £325,000-a-week wages as part of the deal. As such, they describe the inclusion of Rashford in Kone's transfer as quite unlikely.
