- Kick-off time: The pre-season friendly between Rangers and Saint-Etienne is scheduled to take place on Wednesday. Fans can expect the match to kick off under the lights at Ibrox at 7.45pm BST.
- TV and live stream: Unfortunately for domestic viewers, the game has not been picked up for broadcast on any traditional UK television networks. However, supporters can still stream all the action live by purchasing a match pass exclusively through the official RangersTV platform.
- Pre-season form: This will be the penultimate pre-season fixture for Derek McInnes' squad as the Scottish Premiership start date inches closer. Rangers have already returned from a spell in Spain, where they drew against Kaizer Chiefs and Malaysian outfit Johor Darul Ta'Zim after securing pre-season wins over Scottish rivals Raith Rovers and Dunfermline.
- Saint-Etienne's summer: Similarly, the French outfit has already kicked off their pre-season preparations ahead of a challenging trip to Glasgow. Managed by Ian Cathro, Saint-Etienne will be looking to rebound after suffering a narrow 1-0 defeat to Swiss side Servette in their latest friendly.
- Previous season: Both teams will be utilising these friendlies to build momentum after stumbling through the final stages of their respective last campaigns. Rangers ended the 2025/26 season with a frustrating third-place Premier ship finish, while Saint-Etienne similarly struggled and narrowly missed out on promotion back to Ligue 1.
